And now Writing module which that's somehow different for academic and general students.
Fot general candidates,we have two section.You have 20 minutes to write a letter for a person,company,... to describe a situation,ask a question or that sort of things.For the rest of exam,you have 40 minutes to prepare an essay about different topics and write your experiences and also your opinion about that.
On the contrary,for candidate students we have 20 minutes to describe a graph,picture,process,...
This is my experience:
Dear colleague your opinion is so important ,don't pay attention to another advices.Some people believe if you put your idea in this case you will lose your mark!
That's not truue.Moreover,you sould mention the most striking feature for each case.
Another section is about 40 minutes to write an essay about different topics which the difficulty of topics depends on your chance!
Note you should not start with sentences like: "dear lecturer I'm going to describe"
or something like this.
You should use linking words,observe punctuation marks such as coma,semicalon,...
and also you should have an organized paragraphs.
Section 1 with at least 150 words,and section two 250 words.Underlined essays will be penalized by examiners.
What can I add to this....mmm....presure inmy mind......aha!
Brain storm!
You should organize and nurture your mind to face with different kind of topics.
By write many essays,memorize some beautiful sentences & proverbs,...
Moreover,your handwriting should be clear & legible.

Nobody is perfect

Listening:

The native English speakers don't pay attention to this important skills;they think we can easily listen & analyze the monologues & dialogues.
Unfortunately this skill is difficult too.But different people have different idea I suppose.
To me you should be more careful and quick without having any stress.
A little carelessness causes bad results in this case.
In this skill you have 4 section with different accent andtopics.
Conversation tn may be dialogue or monologue.Undoubtedly monologues are much more faster & difficult rather than diologue which two or three individuals speak with each other,but don't misunderstand me sometimes some people debate with each other consecutively,and may be you become confuse.Some times you don't understand which one is which!
You should have practice enough ,watch BBC world,buy some useful cd,...
I had newly gone to the Enghelab square;haphazardly I saw a book about strategy of listening;I should catch some information about that.
Anyway,all in all,your ears should habbit to many words in English.Otherwise,you write wrong word in your answer sheet!Which the answer is HARBOUR,but you write HEYBOY!!!
Another important thing is misspelling.
If you do not know the correct form of for example SOUVENIR,you will lose mark.
In each section we have different type of question filing the lgaps,multiple choice,completion the tables,...
Formost & most importantof sections is fourth section.That's a fast monologue which is none stop only when the speakers swallow their water of mouth!!!

We have no choice but to practice more & more...

Tutor:

Some of candidates preffer to spend some session with tutor to improve their skills.It charges them lots of money.
In Iran/Tehran for everysession to review skills or have some useful speaking practices is enought not anymore.

On one hand some people believe that's worth wile,and on the other hand some people like me think that's better you have self study!

To me it's ridiciulous,only two or three can able to help yourself to improve your skills.
Then,don't relly on any things & also any person.

Reading:

Despite the existence of many different strategies in this module especially the methods that I have learnt in Jahad institute, I preferred have my own method!

This module is most difficult of IELTS skill, and unfortunately we have two limitation time & question.

In my opinion, best method to handle this problem is reading each paragraph, come to the question, and find the answers relevant to each of them.

That's it, because you have not extra time or example to find the stem of question or
Another strategy…"Time Flies"

Reading module has 3 sections. In each section we have 13-14 questions. questions contain different types such as matching,completion,summary completion, short answer,labling and alternatives(multiple choice).

It depends on your chance if you're expert to answer matching and you are unlucky candidate, your exam will not contain any matching question! Like mine!!!

First of all you should have a look to type of the questions in each section, then decide which section is suitable to answer.

Secondly, have a look to first question of each types in each section, memorize them and start to read first paragraph of each section.

Note that you have not extra time to transfer your answer to the answer sheet.
In this occasion, opposite of Listening module, you should enter your answers to the answer to the answer sheet, mere you diagnose the correct answer.

You know!but this method is the best.The text is too difficult especially for academic candidates.You have no choice but to follow this!

Every strange place will make you panicky,and also it will be like a nightmare!
Specially when you wanna take Speaking module.
Don't worry,just keep smile at every one and don't fidget!

If you have taken it in British Council,you should be there 20 minutes before your interview starts.It depends on your chance;if you're lucky candidate whether you're General or Academic,you will have expert examiner,other wise you face an uncertain future!

follow you for having good times terntil you arrive near the main building.

- be relax & also careful
- don't mention to the tape recorderwhich is for assess your skill
- tell a joke or word in jest to show your ability!don't have any fear just try it
